Fundraising

Uxbridge Autoshow 2015 raises over 38,000 for charitable causes.

Rotary Clubs raise funds for their charitable projects in many different ways. Our Club's principal fundraising activity is our Autoshow. Held on a hopefully sunny Sunday in mid-July, it attracts over 2,000 vehicles and some 10,000 visitors.  Since our first Autoshow in 1984, we have raised over £400,000 for charitable work not just in our local community but nationally and internationally too.

We put a tremendous amount of work into this project to make it a great day out for our visitors, exhibitors and traders, trying to make it just a little bit better each year than the last.  The committee meets almost all year round but the real hands-on work starts on the Showground site in the week leading up to the Show. It amazes us every year to see the Showground transformed from a huge tract of open land into a landscape covered in marquees,  motor dealer stands, vehicles of all descriptions and, of course, visitors.

Naturally we could not put on such a massive event without the help of our good friends from so many local organisations.

The Autoshow is said to be the biggest one-day event for Vintage and Collectors vehicles in the South of England and is a major event in Uxbridges diary. It involves all the members of the Club and though exhausting, provides great fellowship and is superb fun.

We have had to cancel the 2020 and 2021 Shows because of covid  but we are looking forward to the next one which will hopefully take place inJuly 2022.  Hope to see you there.

We have a dedicated Autoshow website and would invite you to take a look at uxbridgeautoshow.com
