Having Fun With Rotary

One of the reasons people join Rotary is to make new friends, and this is achieved by having an annual club programme of sporting and other social events where partners and friends can join together for a bit of fun.

Sporting Events

Some of our sporting activities include:

  • an indoor bowls competition with the Rotary Club of Isle of Sheppey
  • regular road cycling for a team of club cyclists
  • golfing competitions
  • club walks
  • clay pigeon shooting

Visits

In the past we have visited:

  • the theatre and cinemas
  • restaurants
  • the Houses of Parliament
  • the Royal Albert Hall 
  • the London Eye
  • a brewery
  • the Royal British legion factory
  • conference weekends in Eastbourne, Brighton, Bournemoth, Torquay & Lille
  • Hoorn in the Netherlands for a Rotary international get together
  • other Rotary club meetings both locally and abroad
