FUND RAISING

Rotary is not primarily a fund raising organisation. Its members seek to use such skills as they may possess to help others and also encourage and enable others to develop and make the most of their talents.

However, there are times when funds are required to help those in need and it is the rôle of the Fund Raising committee to produce a range of activities which will raise sufficient to meet an annual target. This is set by the members at a level which is considered achievable and sufficient to meet anticipated demand.
