On Sunday 19th May 2013 the 20th Nidderdale Charity Walk, organised by the Rotary Club of Harrogate, will take place. The Rotary Club of Harrogate simply charges an entry fee and walkers are then able to take part to gain funds for their chosen charities.

Nineteen Nidderdale Charity Walks have resulted in over three quarters of a million pounds being raised for over one hundred charities.

To mark this 20th Walk a Family Walk of just over 4 miles has been included, in addition to the usual 8, 15 and 22 miles Walks, all of which start at the Riverside Scout Hall in Pateley Bridge.  A 4 miles Special Walk, which is suitable for the disabled, starts at Scar House Dam and follows a tarmac downhill route to Lofthouse.
