Putting the International into Rotary International

Rotarians in Northwich certainly can think "outside the box" and beyond the local community.  Club Rotarians are active on a number of international fronts:

  • Responding to international disasters such as the hurricanes or earthquakes with emergency response aid and support.
  • Worldwide eradication of Polio in conjunction with the World Health Organisation, Centre for Disease Control and the  Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
  • Supporting individuals and local organisations with an existing overseas aid or development project.

Through our own charity The Rotary Foundation, individuals and groups are sponsored to go and study overseas or indeed foreign students are hosted by Rotarians here in Northwich.  These Vocational exchanges and scholars are established via the network of worldwide Rotary Clubs and provide a life changing experience for the participants.
