Organising local heats for the national Young Chef competition

Rotarians - always young at heart

Rotary International promote a number of events and competitions for children and young adults.  Here in Northwich we are extremely active in this area and have forged good working relationships with many of the schools and youth groups to develop the Rotary competitions within the town.  Some of the national competitions and events that we annually hold include:

  • Young chef - a cooking competition initiated by Jamie Oliver
  • Youth speaks - a public speaking competition
  •   Schools Technology TournementJudging at Young Chef local heat

The popularity of these events is such that we often hold local heats to establish "the best of the bunch" who go forward with the clubs sponsorship into regional heats and then national finals.
