What we do locally

We do loads - events and supporting the community throughout the year.
We also liaise and participate with Northwich Town Council, Northwich BID, Canal and River Trust and Cheshire West and Chester Council and many more.

Helping our neighbours

Northwich Rotary's community activities are broad and diverse.  They range from undertaking environmental improvement work in the town, providing support or help to individuals in need and organising activities or events for groups and associations such as pensioners or the medically challenged.  This year a number of specific projects have been targeted:

President Nick distributes Illustrated dictionaries

  • Running an Activity Group for Alzheimers sufferers in the Northwich Area
  • Undertaking  improvements to the Weaver Navigation river bank along Lock Street
  • Awarding over 100 illustrated Dictionaries for Life to primary school pupils
  • Senior citizens entertainment in residential care homes
  • Environmental development work in Carey Park
  • Regular transport of handicapped individuals to their social club
