The Rotary Club of Teignmouth has been working with the local community for over 80 years.  Since 2000 over £100,000 donations have been made including

  • Provision of over 2000 Aquaboxes 
  • Provision of over 40 Shelterboxes valued in excess of £20,000 
  • Raised £26,000 for Sri Lanka following 2004 tsunami 
  • Over £7000 for Children's Hospice South West 
  • Over £2500 for UK flood appeals at Boscastle, Tewkesbury and Cockermouth 
  • Provided 280 wheelchairs for the Wheelchair Foundation 
  • Donation of £6000 to help establish the Alice Cross Community Centre 
  • Helped establish Shopmobility in Teignmouth
  • Founded the Hospital League of Friends
  • Helped establish the Memory Cafe in 2009
  • Helped local organisations raise over £10,000 for their funds through  the South East Devon Community Raffle
  • Kids Day Out for disadvantaged children started in 1996
