Picnic in the Marquee

At the end of June 2023 The Rotary Club of Teignmouth, after a 4year break due to Covid restrictions, the annual Picnic was back again in a brand new Marquee at Trinity School and it was a fabulous evening - the best yet was the verdict of many.

The entertainment was again organised by Steve Laister, compare, singer and comedian.  Majestic Templestowe Show Team, four lovely, talented and energetic dancers treated the audience to a variety of show dances.  Mr Personality Simon Rees and Dynamic Vocalist James Daniel got us to join in with singing and arm waving, . Two lady singers 'Re- Arrival' were the head line act and gave a very professional performance of ABBA - quite brilliant!

The atmosphere was buzzing and the dance floor always full.

Thanks go to Trinity School for providing the marquee, to all the rotarians who organised the event and to all those who came along and supported us.

£3,200 was raised for charity.  The lead charity this year was the Macular Society.
