Burns Supper, 23 January 2008
Chaired by President Elect Jim West, our annual Burns Supper was a really good event with a superb, balanced, mix of performers. See the captioned photos in this gallery to get a full flavour of our celebration of the poet's life and work.
We were delighted to receive a special raffle prize donated by our sister club in Australia: To celebrate Australia Day (26 January) the Rotary Club of Berowra Inc sent (via Ray & Peter Kew) a bottle of Australian wine and a little fluffy symbolic animal - won by a guest to our Club, Juliet Austin (see main photo) who was delighted to win this special prize and added, "I'm an avid fan of Sydney, Australia". Sincere thanks to our Rotarian friends at Berowra.
