Youth Projects

New Generations focuses on our work with young people.

The club has an established tradition of focusing on the younger members of society:

School/College Links: We have a long established link with St Mary's Junior School which works to our mutual advantage.  More recently we have been working with the Norbury Manor Business Enterprise College where we have seen the Phoenix Interact Club established and operating successfully.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards: Recently we have made awards on this programme to students at NMBEC and are looking to progress this with Croydon College.

Croydon Kids Out: Our members, along with Rotarians from Croydon Rotary Club act as care assistants on the day out at Chessington World of Adventure having met the children at St Nicholas School and accompanying them on the coach trip there and back. Along with other clubs in Croydon we contribute to the cost of this day each year.

Croydon Youth Speaks: We contribute to the organisation and funding of the local heats of this annual National School Children's Public Speaking competition.

New Addington Boxing Club: we have made grants for equipment and licencing of this club and they have assisted with our Chrismas Collections.
