Youth Activities

Supporting Local Youth

We sponsor the annual awards for Luton School Sports and candidates for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards RYLA which are seminars to encourage and recognise leadership abilities of youth and young adults aged 18 to 30.

The club also organises and runs the local heat of Rotary Youth Speaks.

The Schools Technology Tournament run by District was started by Luton North.

We are founder members of the Rotary Youth Trust Luton its objects being to identify and give assistance to local young people with the potential to be tomorrow's leaders, sporting, artistic, and academic achievers.                                                                        .  .

Dictionaries for Life

more ‘Dictionaries for Life’ is a Rotary initiative to donate dictionaries to children and encourage them to learn new words so that they will be able to use the English language effectively. Modern children may regard it as a 'cordless spell checker'!
