The Rotary Club of Kirkcudbright will again be organising the Galloway ReCycle Sportive this year. We are supporting a charity based in Kilmarnock called 'Killie Can Cycle.'

Ride from our beautiful town which nestles on the banks of Kirkcudbright Bay through the countryside on wonderful quiet roads and into the Galloway hills before returning to Kirkcudbright.

Your strength and determination in this event will ultimately help those less fortunate. We are supporting a charity based in Kilmarnock called 'Killie Can Cycle.'  They collect bikes donated from around Ayrshire and restore them to working order selling them at £5 - £30, mainly to children in Scotland.  However, 20% are sent to Africa and they are donated free to charities in Malawi and Ghana who pass them on to children who use them to ride to school. This event is run entirely by volunteers and all proceeds raised will go to charity. Check out this Youtube Video for more information KillieCanCycle.
