A talk by our own Norman Pettigrew.

A "Magic Lantern Show" of images taken during Norman's travels in South East Asia.


This evening, our own Norman Pettigrew took us through a pictorial tour of South East Asia, from Ankor Wat in Cambodia to Hanoi in Vietnam.  His fascinating talk was entitled "Cambodia and Vietnam: The American War" and it showed how both these countries were still recovering from the appalling conflict which took place there many years ago and from the dire political situation in the immediate aftermath of the war.  We're grateful to Norman for taking the time time show us not only some wonderful photographs but also to put the scenes in context.
