OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
New Generations ( formally Youth Activities) offers a wide range of opportunities for young people.
There are numerous youth competitions such as young chef, young photographer, youth speaks, recognising outstanding work in the community through the RIBI Young Citizens Awards amongst many others. There are also opportunities to travel overseas with the camps and tours programme, participate in overseas family exchanges and in addition to study overseas with the wide range of Rotary youth programmes. There is also the popular Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) which is intended to develop leadership skills for young people between 18 & 26 years of age.
The aim of the programmes is to help young people discover and develop their skills, self-esteem and enjoy themselves in the process. Within the range of New Generations programmes there is something for everyone!
