Rotary GB&I President Ray Burman visited Burton upon Trent on 17th February 2012, accompanied by District Governor Gordon McGlone. Ray came to Burton to view the work being carried out by local Rotary Clubs.
The first stop was on Burton Bridge to view the area to be cleaned up in the joint Burton/Bretby Rotary Clubs 'Spring Clean' event on Saturday 7th April 2012. The final visit was to the new Chestnut Grange Extra Care development in Anglesey Road where our club has given financial assistance to help create the Water Feature, a sensory garden, seating and a summer house.
The visit ended with lunch at Chestnut Grange.
