On Wednesday 13 June eighteen Rotarians and partners wearing their elegant Kids Out tee shirts and caps arrived at Wicksteed Park to meet excited children from Green Oaks, Northgate and Greenfields Schools. Our Club sponsored 113 children and 53 teachers out of the total of over 2,000 children with special needs, sponsored by District. The role of Rotarians was to provide extra support for their teachers on the annual Kids Day Out.
This is one of the best events organised annually by District where the children have free rides and packed lunches.
The park resounded with cries of delight and whoops of joy
