Young Inventors Competition

The annual Llantwit Major Rotary Club Young Inventors' competition was held at Llantwit Major Comprehensive School on Wednesday 9^th May. The competition pieces formed part of the competitors' A-level submissions in Product Design and spanned a wide range of areas. First prize and the Ledley Engineering shield went to Alex Harris with his design for collapsible cricket nets. Joint second places were awarded to Michael Matthews who had designed an interactive board and computer game and to Chris Vinson for his interchangeable football boot blades design. The judges were very impressed with the quality of the entries and wished the students well with their A-level examinations.
