The Community, Vocational and Youth Committee supports our local community.  That can involve distributing funds or spending time to support events and initiatives in our local area.  Recent examples include:

·          Donations for food to Emmanuel House, The Friary and the Salvation Army.

·          £500 to the Rotary Life Education Centre.  Life Education Centre is a unique and inspirational health and drug prevention charity for primary school pupils. Using a high-tech mobile classroom and a specially trained educator, it aims to teach children how amazing their bodies are and how drugs can affect them. It also aims to provide the knowledge, skills and self-confidence to enable them to make healthy choices, particularly about what to put in their bodies.

·          Donations to the Stonebridge City Farm, which provides a safe and educational rural space in an urban setting.  150 volunteers work  on site each week, many of whom have a mental health challenge or a learning disability.

·          ECO Greenhouse Gotham Primary School.  The club helped the children to collect hundreds of 2 litre used drinks bottles and upcycle them into a greenhouse that can be used to grow food.
