Rotary was the world's first service club organisation and has no political or religious affiliations. It is made up of individual clubs, organised and run by its members and now has more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide.
Rotary club members are volunteers who use their skills, energy and experience to make a real difference to others by supporting projects both locally and around the world, whilst having fun together and making new friends.
Joining Rotary gives you the chance to make a difference. Be it fundraising for a local charity, volunteering at an event, working with young people or building a school in Africa, the list of opportunities is endless.
Networking opportunities are endless. Rotary consists of a cross-section from every business community and its members come from all walks of life.
We meet on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Monday of the month. 7pm for 7.30pm and finish at 9.30pm. These meetings are at The Hill Merrywalks.
2nd Mondays we meet at lunchtime- contact the Secretary to find out venue for these meetings
(from 1 July 2017 we will be meeting on 1st and 3rd and 5th Mondays)
We are a mixed gender club with around 23 members with a wide range of businesses, professions and jobs.
