The Oswestry School Interact organise a charity balloon release on the Maes y llan during the school Sports Day.

Oswestry School's Interact Club organised a balloon release to coincide with the school's Sports Day.  £2 was charged for each biodegradeable balloon with prizes being awarded for the balloon which travelled the furthest, for the finder and the student buying the balloon.

Balloon tickets were returned from as far away as Manchester and Scarborough.

All funds raised went the the Alder Hey Children's Hospital and the Crisis charity.

Combined with an Own Clothes Day, the charities received £473 with more to come in!
