Role
To promote involvement by young people in Rotary competitions, other youth opportunities, and volunteering
Responsibilities
- To use existing links with local schools and colleges and develop new ones
- To liaise with the other Rotary Clubs in Worcester in order to plan joint activities and avoid duplication of contact with schools and colleges
Aims
- To increase number of young people involved in one or more activity
- To increase number of schools and colleges involved in one or more activity
Objectives
- To continue to run Young Chef Competition
- To continue to run Young Citizen Award
- To continue to run Young Writer Award
- To continue to run Young Photographer Award
- To continue to run RYLA
- To establish an Interact Group
- To establish a Technology Tournament, building on already existing competition
- To disseminate information about opportunities for volunteering by young people
