Some suggestions for places to eat. They vary from simple pubs to 'blow-the-budget' specials.
In July 2012, in desperation, I appealed for suggestions for venues for a forthcoming lunch with friends. This seems to have struck an untapped rich seam of gold. I am deeply indebted to fellow members and friends who have come up with suggestions. I have deliberately chosen NOT to endorse any of these choices, unless I have been there myself, but I think it fair to say that it is worth making a note of this page and referring back to it if you are looking for somewhere to eat and are looking for inspiration - much like I was before appealing to others.
The only divisions I have made are geographic ones. Where I can find websites for the places I list them.
