Rotary Sporting Dinner 2013

Our ever-popular black-tie Sporting Dinner, at the Park Inn, Silver Street, Northampton.
Our principal speaker was the 'Leicester Lip', Austin Healey, in his only speaking 'gig' this year, as he's too busy with his other commitments. He spoke for over 45 minutes and was rapturously received. Mind you his 'warm up act' was quite phenomenal - the machine gunners of the 2nd battalion, Royal Anglian regiment, who also double as the band. Their colonel reminded everyone of the real reason that we were all there - raising money for good causes.
The poor man who had to follow Austin was that very popular comedian, Jed Stone.
