A talk entitled "The Limb Project"


Jim Copeland, a past District Governor, was our speaker this evening.  His topic, "The Limb Project", was only part of what he had to say.  Jim, a man dedicated to helping others, has set up "One World Interenational Development", a charitable organization which aims to bring help and relief to the suffering around the world in three main ways.  "Plumpy Nut" is a food supplement for children suffering from malnutrition.  It is easy and cheap to produce and has a long shelf life, especially compared to other food supplements used for the same purpose.  The Sawyer water filter is a simple water purification bio filter which, for a cost of
