Hungerford Rotary help Royal British Legion.

Hungerford’s Royal British Legion Club Complete Refurbishment Programme

Members of Hungerford’s Royal British Legion Club were pleased to receive a Grant and Donations to complete their refurbishment and decoration programmes this year.    The Town Council, the Greenham Common Trust and the Rotary Club of Hungerford were pleased to enable the works and also to purchase new round dining tables especially for Weddings and other family occasions at the Legion.  

The Mayor of Hungerford, Martin Crane, on the left, and the President of Hungerford Rotary, Nick Fritz, on the right, are seen presenting their Cheques to the Legion’s Club President John North during a Social Evening recently for members and special guests. 

Club Chairman, Jim Scarlett commented…..“Our thanks go to the Hungerford Rotary Club, the Town Council as well as the Greenham Common Trust whose financial help has made these improvements possible.  He also added his gratitude and thanks to the Club members for their continued support.    This is truly a magnificent example of our Community working together for the benefit of others”…..
