GSE Team from Venezuela

The Rotary Club of Wensleydale has been hosting a Group Study Exchange team from Venezuela

The team from Venezuela consists of three journalists, an architect, and a bacteriologist. They are visiting Yorkshire for four weeks, staying at the homes of Rotarians as the move between Rotary Clubs across the District. They are spending a week in Wensleydale before moving to Scarborough to attend the Rotary Conference.

While in Wensleydale, the team are visiting sites of interest, including Wensleydale Creamery, Low Mill outdoor centre, and Hawes cattle mart. They also spend time on vocational visits, for instance, the journalists visited the offices of the Darlington & Stockton Times. One member, Oriana, thoroughly enjoyed a day at the community bakery in Bedale where she learnt to bake several varieties of bread!
