Previous Years

Work around the weighbridge has now been completed as may be seen in the following:

29 October 2013: The project was extended to refurbish the white walls around the Bowling Green at the bottom of Coinagehall Street and to effectively rebuild and restore the white walls around the site of the old Helston weighbridge.

The newly painted white washed walls around the streets of Helston are a reflection of the pride Helstonions take in presenting their town at its best for Flora Day.

At the 2012 Flora Dance midday dance practice, John Head,
a Helston Flora Day Steward, announced his vision that the white wash walls of Helston should be restored and painted for next year
