A talk on the 'Childrens Hospice Association Scotland.'

This evening we were addressed by Mr Bill Norquay, a fellow Rotarian from Dunoon with a long history of service within the organization.  He spoke to us about the Childrens' Hospice Association of Scotland (CHAS).  This institution brings help and respite for sick children who have life limiting conditions and their families.  CHAS strives to provide happy places in the saddest of circumstances.  Currently, there are two hospices in Scotland, one in Kinross and the other in Balloch.  The Inverness Outreach Program also provides CHAS at Home in the Highlands, providing short, planned breaks for the whole family.  Bill gave us just a glimpse of what's provided by the dedicated staff of CHAS and the welcoming atmosphere of the facilities.  We wish him and the Association all the best.
