Wed, May 15th 2013 at 12:00 am- Thu, May 16th 2013 - 12:00 am

The club's 30th Anniversary is celebrated by a 'Black Tie' event at the Hallmark.

President David opened the 30th Charter event by welcoming the presidents of Gloucester (Amanda Chamberlayne), Gloucester North (Robin Bennion), Gloucester Quays (Wayne Organ) and the president of Severn Vale (Mike Naylor.  Also present was our honorary member Roger Head and the District Governor David Houghton.

Non Rotarian Visitors included Brian Morman of Brunsdons Insurance and George Latham M.D.of G R Lane Health.

President Dave remined us of what had changed in the world since 1983, (no morning television and petrol at 67p per litre!  However what had not changed was the fellowship enjoyed by Gloucester Severn - as strong now as it was then.   Those 27 founder members had now grown to 56.

Paul Harris recognition certificates of the support that our main sponsors had given us over the years were presented to Barnwodod Group (to our member Chiris Gabb), Brunsdons (to Brian Morman), G R Lane Helath (to George Latham) and Keyway (our member Eamonn McGurk).
