The Club's "End Polio Now" fundraising event was held in St Barts Church Hall and raised nearly £1000. Click on the title to go to the main page and see the photo gallery of Rotarians enjoying themselves


In a truly "team" event, Club members - and members of other Rotary Clubs - joined together to both organise and then enjoy a horse racing evening (with a few dogs thrown in for good measure.  Chief organiser was Philippa Lawrence but the team (in no particular order) extended to Phil Tanner who kept us all in a straight line; Nigel Ashley our sound man; Ceri Pridding and her family (including Ian - and Mum and Dad from South Wales) who set up the advertising in the Town and in the Church Hall; Colin Lawrence - our regular Mr Fixit; Barbara Rumbold - the Tote Queen; Hayley Woodall who produced all the printed material; Eleanor McLaughlin and Anne Selman who sandbagged the audience for
