School Science laboratory .India

A report on the club assisting in the equipping of a school science laboratory in India.


16.01.13 NOHARI HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE LABORATORY.

 

In the last club year (President Nigel) we had agreed to assist ,with the aid of District,a project in South Africa. Unfortunately this never came to fruition .However, we have been able to use the funds elsewhere.

 

Past President Som Roy on a trip to India visited the Salt Lake Rotary Club. (We have worked with this club before and had provided money via a simplified grant for a toilet block).This club wanted to help a local school by equipping a science laboratory. Could we assist?

The answer was yes after Tony Powell,Convenor for the international Committee, contacted District and they agreed to ,tranfer the money (
