Visit by Nancy Majorelle Rotary Club

Members of the Rotary Club of Nancy Majorelle, France visited Watford to meet our club with a view to possible twinning in the future. We entertained them to a meal at The Cricketers in Sarrat.

Nancy is a town in North East France. It is famous for Place Stanislas, a magnificent 18th century square which is now a World Heritage Site.

The Art Nouveau movement has its origins in Nancy and the town has many museums and fine buildings in the Art Nouveau style.
