The toast for November was given by Edwin Twentyman, a past president of our club, who asked members to raise their glasses to the Rotary Club of Ulverstone,in the Australian state of Tasmania.
Edwin recalled that, while serving as the Ulverston Town Clerk in 1957, he welcomed a visit by the Civic Leader of Ulverstone in Tasmania, which he said had been veryenjoyable.
He told us that Ulverstone is a major town on Tasmania
