The MRI Scanner - with the breast cancer attachment in the foreground. 19 members and partners of Barton Rotary Club visited Hull Royal Infirmary to enable Prof Lindsay Turnbull to demonstrate how she operates in the non-surgical treatment of breast cancer. Magnetic Resonance Guided Focussed Ultrasound (MRgFUS) is used for the treatment. Barton Rotary Club held a Casino Evening to raise money to help buy the equipment. Dorothy Fagge, wife of Barton President Elect, John, is one of the fund raisers for the project and is now working on providing the attachment to treat Prostate Cancer
