Dyfrig spoke about all aspects of the eisteddfod from the history of the eisteddfod to the wealth generation aspects to the erecting of the pink pavilion.
The first mention of an eisteddfod was in 1176 at Aberteifi and in the 1523 eisteddfod in Caerwys bards were graded according to status for the first time. The first national Eisteddfod in the modern sense was in 1861 in Aberdare.
Denbigh has hosted the National Eisteddfod on three occasions, 1882, 1939 and 2001 and will. of course, host the 2013 event. The 1882 eisteddfod cost
