On Tuesday March 19th the topic was the Denbigh Archive project. This is a project to preserve photographs and documents relating to the area covered by the former Denbigh Borough, basically Denbigh and Henllan. The archive group meet each Monday afternoon in the Denbigh Library and digitally copy items brought by members of the public and then return the photographs to the owners. The photographs eventually go on to the Denbigh Archive website.
There is a great deal of work to be done on research into the photographs so that individuals, buildings and events can be identified and a story built up which will enhance the history of the town.
