Tonight, Nick Mace, Exploration Geophysicist with Cuadrilla Resources, came to talk to us about the controversial topic of Fracking - set to change the way of life in Lancashire for thousands of people. This is potentially the single most important change to the way of life in the North West in our generation.

Nick gave a very detailed talk on what is involved in the process of Hydraulic Fracturing, or Fracking, and gave us an idea of how much gas there may be 10,000 metres below us. While we may still have some concerns over the safety of this relatively new technology, Matthew covered how to Cuadrilla, safety to the local environment is one of their key aims.
