Simon Dormer is a director of Harlaw Hydro Ltd.
Simon described a most interesting and innovative project that this non-profit group is engaged in - the construction and operation of a small hydro-electric plant between the Harlaw reservoir and the Bavelaw Burn in Balerno.vThis plant with a capacity of 65KW, enough electricity for about 56 homes, is a community project supported by the Balerno Village Trust.
