On 23 April the Club was treated to a fascinating presentation displaying the work of the Ratho Byres Forge.
The Forge was established in 1974 by Master Blacksmith Phil Johnson and the company, P. Johnson and Company, is truly a family business run by Phil, son Mike, daughter Shona and son-in-law Pete. It was Shona who delivered the presentation.
We were shown examples of the work done at Ratho ranging from ornamental gates
