Stonehouse Goodwill Afternoon and Evening

Sat, Nov 30th 2013 at 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

We will be running our gourmet BBQ as usual at this excellent town community event.

Lanterns Light up Stonehouse Goodwill Fest

Warm community spirit lit up Stonehouse Goodwill Fest with a magical lantern parade by children and their parents in the High Street.

Crowds flocked to watch the lanterns pass by (never seen so many people in Stonehouse High Street before).... Choirs sang, bands played whilst stall holders lined the pavements tempting us with mulled wine and mince pies and other festive treats.

John Coneley's fun fair also added to the sparkle on a perfect dry evening.
And children even got their first taste of snow thanks to a snow machine brought in from Iceland.

Our thanks to everyone who took part, particularly to Stonehouse Community Partnership event organisers Pam Swain and John Jeynes. PS Our Rotary Gourmet BBQ sold out - a first!

Do please take a chance to browse the slideshow pictures - some great memories of a super event!
