President Graham Smith welcomed 13 other members, and circulated a form for those wishing to attend the annual Six Clubs Dinner at the Cairndow Inn on Wednesday September 18. Douglas Dow made a plea for more helpers at the bookstall in aid of Polioplus in Colquhoun Square on Saturday from 9am-3pm.
It was agreed that the scheduled Council meeting on Tuesday August 27 would take place immediately after lunch, rather than in the evening. The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by secretary Donald Fullarton.
