RIBI's Annual Conference to be held in Birmingham for 2014

From 11- 13 April 2014, the Rotary GB&I Conference will be hosted in the City of Birmingham. Once known as the 'city of a thousand trades' due to its historical industrial heritage, Birmingham is now a thriving modern city with a range of visitor attractions to suit every taste.

With more miles of canal than Venice, there are plenty of beautiful views, stunning modern developments like the Cube and restored industrial heritage buildings to enjoy during a peaceful boat trip.

Alternatively, you can visit one of the many attractions which include world class art galleries, the Botanical Gardens, the National Sea Life Centre, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Cadbury World, the Thinktank Science Museum and the historic Jewellery Quarter. You can also enjoy a Blue Badge guided walking tour around the pedestrian friendly city centre or an open top bus trip.

The International Convention Centre, which has previously hosted the G8 summit, is this year's venue of choice. It is situated right in the centre of Birmingham within easy walking distance of your chosen accommodation and local attractions. It is in an ideal location, wth excellent facilities which will provide comfort for delegates and deliver a perfect home for the House of Friendship.

Please join Rotary GB&I President Nan McCreadie at the 2014 Rotary GB&I Conference at the ICC in Birmingham from 11th to 13th April for a fantastic weekend of fun, fellowship and inspirational speakers.

The Backbeat Beatles Tribute band will perform at the ICC on the Saturday evening.

City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and Treorchy Male Voice Choir will perform at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham on Friday 11th April 2014 at 7.30pm for the
