Storrington & Pulborough District Rotary Club is part of the wider national and international Rotary organisation.

Our aims mirror those of other Rotary Clubs:

  • Service above Self - putting our expertise and skills together in support of projects that directly help the local and wider community, raising funds where needed
  • Friendship - our weekly meetings enable our members to enjoy dining in the company of other like-minded local people
  • International - awareness and fund raising for specific projects overseas identified by the Club.

Our weekly Monday evening meetings

Our weekly gatherings are the focus of our activities. These are enjoyable social occasions when we share a meal, which is often followed by a short presentation from a guest speaker. Once a month we hold a business meeting after dining to monitor progress with our current service projects and related fund-raising. There are also fellowship and guest evenings when members can invite partners or friends to join them.

Social activities

Our male and female members share a common interest in friendship and having a good time. We have a lively social programme with visits to places of interest, 10 pin bowling events and other light-hearted sports, meals out, as well as an annual Christmas Dinner and an annual Dinner/Dance. We have friendly European ties with Clubs in Franeker, Holland and Villeneuve-sur-Lot, France and meet with their Rotarians from time to time.
