Do you know your blood pressure? High blood pressure is the biggest risk factor for stroke, yet it has no symptoms and can affect people of all ages and lifestyles.
Our Know Your Blood Pressure campaign helps people of all ages to understand the link between high blood pressure and stroke, other risk factors for stroke and what they can do to reduce their risk of having a stroke. We get to the heart of communities by holding events across the UK offering free blood pressure testing, stroke prevention information and friendly advice.
Since the Know Your Blood Pressure campaign began, we have tested the blood pressure of over 100,000 people!
Know Your Blood Pressure Day 2014 - Saturday 5th April
On Saturday 5th April, Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland and the Stroke Association will be holding Know Your Blood Pressure events up and down the UK. We are very grateful to the Rotary clubs who will be holding events on our behalf.
