Club participation in District 1070 Uganda Motorbike Ambulance Project

An ERanger motorbike ambulance

In Rotary Year 2011/12 the Club participated in a District 1070 project to fund the purchase of motorbike ambulances for Mbale District in Uganda.  The project was initiated by the District International Chairman, Roger Neuberg who is a regular visitor to Mbale and was aimed at reducing the female mortality rate in childbirth by providing viable transport to get to patients to hospital in a timely manner.  District clubs contributed
