Be aware that in the District Quiz this was the man whose contribution was Scottish football questions. So it is no use swotting up the peoms of Segfried Sassoon.

In reality he had the last laugh and questioned us about the Bronte sisters and Shakespeare, planets, diamonds, Bank of England history and hygroscopes.
So the next District Quiz team has been selected by a large margin. Congratulations to Iain Baker, Stan Bromilow, Stewart Lee and Peter Wray
