Ashtead Rotary Club runs a varied programme of activities for its members. This helps to foster enjoyment in Rotary and strong friendships within the club.

Ashtead Rotary Club meets weekly, not only to organise the club's charitable activities but also to have fun! The club aims to provide a varied programme of information and entertainment for these weekly meetings. Fortnightly formal presentations include updates from charities the club already supports, introductions from charities new to the club who may wish to seek funding and information from members of local community organisations to give the club an overview of what is happening in and around Ashtead.

In between these more formal presentations, club members get together for dinner, drinks and light-hearted entertainment, often organised by individual rotarians. These evenings can include annual celebratory events such as Burn's Night, Oktoberfest, Thanksgiving and Christmas; popular activities, for example, skittles nights, quizzes and darts; and trips out to local attractions such as Denbies Vineyard. From time to time, members also give talks to the club either about their life and professional experiences or on a subject close to their hearts.

Ashtead is an extremely active Rotary Club both socially and in its charitable activities, so if you are interested in giving service in a fun and friendly environment, please contact the secretary for more details. Visitors are welcome to most meetings and the club happily hosts guests interested in joining or just finding out more about Rotary.
