End Polio Now Campaign

Rotary, along with our partners, has reduced polio cases by 99% worldwide since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.

Did you know that when Rotary made the commitment to eradicate polio in 1985, more than 350,000 children per year were paralysed by polio? With Rotary’s help that is now fewer than 35. Help us make that zero!

Rotary has invested over US$1 billion, as part of a global investment of over $9.5 billion in polio eradication. As a result of this investment, polio is at the lowest levels ever. Yet a critical funding gap threatens this progress as we work to reach the most vulnerable children in the most challenging places.

We are close to eradicating polio, but we need your help.

The Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann is an active support of the End Polio Campaign.

In recent years we have raised funds in a number of ways including working with Isle of Man Bank to sell Purple Crocuses
