Wed, Dec 4th 2013 at 12:00 am - 12:00 am

Over 80 Buxton Rotarians and friends party at The Old Hall Hotel

Hill farmer Peter Slack entertained everyone with his encounters with ramblers; party games raised £83, which was made up to £150 for Blythe House in recognition of Peter Slack's fantastic talk; songs by Dick Silson and friends were excellent; and, Colin Rogers and Phillip Holland provided rousing musical accompaniment. The 'Singing Santas' carolled enthusiastically to the direction of lead 'Santa', Lyn Noble, to prepare for their Spring Gardens fuindraising appearance on the two Saturdays before Christmas 2013. Finally, everyone gave great gusto to the 'The Twelve Days of Christmas', and 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year',
